The GTF® system performs the removal of deteriorated concrete on tunnel linings down to a thickness of 1-10 cm in a single pass, making it an effective solution regardless of tunnel length. The system can also be used with excellent results for milling thicknesses over 10 cm, in which case several passes are necessary.
The special milling operations using the GTF® machines guarantee precision along the entire surface and allow the quantity of grout needed for the repair to be precisely calculated in advance, all to the advantage of on-time job completion and site costs.

The GTF® system can mill horizontal surfaces such as concrete pavement, or vertical surfaces, for example containment walls of trenches crossed by urban and extra-urban roads, or those of artificial tunnels. The system is also excellent for milling sloped surfaces, such as the concrete linings and embankments of waterways and canals.

When the project calls for the progressive widening of the section, the GTF® system can be utilized to profile the lining with variable thicknesses between the roof and side walls.
